I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Kylie and I am the newest member of the Cie-Elle team.

I am a local artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Teaching. In 2011, I won first prize for class 10: Rural Subject at the Royal Easter Show, and the Hidden Newington Armoury Award. I have also won the Sydney Olympic Park Residency in 2010 and 2011. In 2009 I won the acquisitive Hornsby Art Prize, and have works acquired by the Dubbo Council, NSI TAFE collection, Westmead Hospital, and private collectors. I am actively exhibiting in my free time, the latest exhibition was Sculpture in the Vineyards in November. I was also involved with Taronga Wild! Rhino, an Art event that brought businesses, artists and schools together to create a spectacular world-class sculpture trail through the streets, parks and public spaces of Sydney to Dubbo and surrounds. The herd of 125 wildly colourful rhino and calf sculptures was a mass free public art exhibition to help raise awareness and vital funds for Taronga’s world leading Black Rhino breeding program and in-situ conservation projects.

I am really excited to be involved with a new side of art here at Cie-Elle, and look forward to meeting other artists.
