File set up and ordering guide
Whether you’re ready to place a print order with us, or just want a little more info on how the process works, we quite like details so let us lay it out for you.
Step 1: Send us your files and receive a free consultation over the phone or make an appointment to come in and see us.
When sending your files, here are some file format tips that will make the process a little easier.
- Tiff (or JPEG with no compression)
- RGB 1998
- Flattened (no layers)
- 300dpi or higher

Step 2: We’ll review submitted files and advise what is possible in terms of sizing. Also whether any further file optimisation is required. Minor optimisations are included free of charge. Examples of these include adjusting/checking the endpoints, sizing, sharpening of the file or removing a colour cast to improve the file before printing. Any extensive time or major adjustments will incur a small fee.
Step 3: Confirm your order. Once your file is approved, you can decide on print numbers, sizing and also select your fine art or photo paper. We offer the best fine art and photographic papers from a range of premium suppliers.

Step 4: We produce your prints, using the latest canon printers and premium inks. Read more about our printers and inks.
Step 5: Collect your order, or we can arrange delivery. We take extra care with all deliveries! Your prints will be packaged with acid free tissue paper and rolled into a sturdy tube.
Our standard turnaround time is 3-5 days for normal sized jobs.
